The cottages at Waterside Holiday Cottages were absolutely beautiful! The terrace was perfect for morning coffee with stunning views of the tidal rivers. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to cook meals, and the cozy seating area by the fireplace was great for relaxing in the evenings. Plus, having a washing machine was a game-changer!

Personally, I found the cottages being raised up from the road a little inconvenient. But hey, some might actually love the secluded feel it gives.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful and peaceful holiday cottage. the location was perfect, close to local amenities and just 50 yards from a boat that took us to Falmouth and Trellisick. the property itself was cosy and homely, beautifully decorated with excellent facilities. the owners have thought of everything you could possibly need, including a great selection of books and board games. It truly felt like a home away from home. the owners were also incredibly helpful, providing us with all the information we needed for a trouble-free stay and giving us excellent tips on places to visit. the quality of the bed linen and pillows was outstanding and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could need, even for a big roast dinner. the water pressure in the shower was fantastic and the location gave us both a feeling of being in the middle of nowhere while still being just a short drive from Truro. the highlight was definitely the boat trip down the Fal into Falmouth, which departed and returned just a two-minute walk from the cottage. We also enjoyed some delicious meals at the nearby Heron restaurant/pub. we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this holiday cottage.

Felt like being at home, no complaints at all.

What a disappointment! We were excited to spend New Year at this place, but it fell far short of our expectations. First of all, the accommodation was not well-maintained. the carpet was worn out and there were gripper rods sticking out, making it a tripping hazard. the paintwork was chipped and looked tired, and there was dust on the crockery and in the kitchen. Even the freezer needed a good defrost. And let's not forget the hedge outside, it desperately needed a trim.

The hotel's decor and ambiance were truly lovely and charming, with beautiful antique pieces and tasteful artwork throughout. The general areas were well-maintained and provided a warm and cozy atmosphere, making me feel right at home. As a senior woman, I greatly appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with everything conveniently located and easily accessible, allowing me to navigate the hotel without any issues.

The only thing I would have asked for is a bit more assistance from the staff, especially for us senior folks. Perhaps some additional support or guidance in navigating the area or recommendations for senior-friendly activities would have made the vacation even more enjoyable.

The location was absolutely mind-blowing, with jaw-dropping views of the river. The cottage itself was super cozy and beautifully decorated, with a high-quality kitchen and underfloor heating. The pub just three doors up the road served top-notch food with friendly service. The owners provided excellent tips and information, making our stay hassle-free. Plus, there were great amenities like free Wi-Fi, a dryer, an electric kettle, a flat-screen TV, and an outdoor dining area.

The cottages at Waterside Holiday Cottages were absolutely stunning! The views of the confluence of the rivers were breathtaking, and being able to enjoy them from the terrace was a dream come true. The fully equipped kitchen made cooking a breeze, and the cozy seating area with a sofa was the perfect spot to unwind after a long day of exploring.

Personally, I found the cottages being raised up from the road a bit inconvenient. Others might appreciate the extra privacy and quietness, but I would have preferred easier access.

The location was sick - so close to the boat to Falmouth and Trellisick. We had a rad time exploring Cornwall, from kayaking to surfing. The cottage itself was on point, with a wicked outdoor tennis court and all the facilities we needed. It was the perfect base for us to have a blast with our friends!

The only thing that could have made our stay even better is if there was a cool party room with a DJ booth and dance floor. As young party animals, it would have been sick to have a dedicated space to let loose and dance the night away.
